The Quest: A dream that needed two generations to fulfill

Ask almost any enthusiast about Carlisle, and they’ll likely tell you about one of the ten events that are held there. Or they’ll talk about the hundreds of thousands of enthusiasts who flock to the fairgrounds to attend any one of those events during the summer months.

Trans Am Seat Cover Replacement

No place sees more wear and tear in any car than the seats and the carpet. Whether they are cloth, vinyl or leather, the seats will see a lot of action and over time simply wear out.

Leather cracks and splits, cloth ravels and frays, vinyl is probably the most resilient with the minimum amount of maintenance, but even vinyl dies. Replacing the seat covers is really the only fix, as repairing seat covers just doesn’t work. The problem is that fourth-generation Firebirds don’t get much love in the upholstery market.

Hydrogen Fuel Cell Cars

One of the most widely explored alternate power systems for motorized cars are hydrogen fuel cells in vehicles. There are more hydrogen fuel cell vehicles being developed in 2008 than any other concept automobiles. Put simply, a hydrogen fuel cell functions by taking oxygen and combining it with hydrogen. It then passes this mixture of hydrogen and oxygen through a catalyst which breaks it down into protons and electrons and generates energy and power to an electric motor.
